To Find

But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13

Open the back door

While the coffee brews

Drip

Drip

Steam

Breeze feels cool on my face

Greeting me for a new day

My cousin’s recent separation

The other one

Who was let go from her job

Dad’s upcoming birthday…

These thoughts, I consider them my prayers

A piece of toast emerges from the toaster

A little bite before buttering

Little self-control?

I choose to think of it as self-compassion instead

Nourishment is needed quickly in the mornings now

I’m reminded of the nearby market where I buy this bread

The samples offered there truly make me happy

Daily bread

What’s happening in Ukraine? I haven’t prayed lately

It is hard to know where to start if one watches the news

So sometimes I don’t

I hope our friend is home from hospital by Christmas

More prayers

Coffee meets tastebuds

Union

Sip

Sip

Today, I have found

Daily bread
